Great locaion for concert

Great property, lots of places to walk to eat and activities!

Room was quiet except for outside traffice, but the hotel kindly supplied earplugs and a white noise machine. Very thoughtful!

After traveling hours for a family weekend with 2 young kids and baby, no rooms were available at check in due to being oversold - despite being a member with a multiple night reservation booked thru Marriott. Over an hour later, they gave us a walk letter to a lower rated (motel feel) property claimed as the only non-sold out option in the region despite talking amongst themselves about hotel rates. When we finally arrived near midnight, we didn’t feel comfortable or safe staying with the kids. When unable to find other availability quickly, we decided it was best to leave and drive multiple hours home through the night - losing out on all pre-booked weekend activities. The issue was the lack of care shown in a disruptive moment. Specifically, they gave no communication in advance of our arrival, had no pre-determined plan for us when we arrived, denied all my requests to talk to a manager, and came off as hoping the situation would magically disappear. They made their inconvenience feel bigger than ours, their guests. After calling Marriott support that night, a manager called the next morning simply to confirm if we were going to stay at the hotel night two where only a 1 bed option was available. After waiting to write this, zero compensation was provided for our “inconvenience”. Even if the business is a numbers game, at least act like you’re on the same team as the customer. I’m not sure I’ve ever given a negative review, but unfortunate circumstances were amplified by subpar customer service. Because of this terrible experience, I do not recommend this hotel. I hope this is an isolated problem that others don’t have to experience.

I stopped by the hotel to see if I could check in early on Friday because my daughter’s wedding was that evening. I told the front desk that I couldn’t check in until after midnight. Paid the incidental fee and was assured that my reservation was fine. They gave my room away. Leaving us stranded
