Free large parking, well lit. Room was large. Not cleaned daily, but we are ok with that. Great location for exploring Cape Cod. Breakfast was great. Staff work hard.

In Manteca, California, in the central Valley not far south of Sacramento and a short drive to Yosemite, I have stayed in a quiet, comfortable, clean and safe respite every week since April of 2024. I travel for business at that location just south of Stockton and I have a fairly high standard for acceptable accommodations. I also work in Stockton and still choose to stay in Manteca. The atmosphere is good and the staff is quite friendly. Mr. Ham is the manager and the owners are experienced hoteliers. I have gotten to know the staff as always being available and helpful at any hour of the day or night. And, they always have a sincere smile. The experienced staff includes Rajiv, Jeshur, Jennifer, Ruby, Hector and Aggie, among others. The rooms are clean and predictably supplied and the appliances and other supportive environmentals are always working well. One can expect the usual microwave, decent size refrigerator/freezer, ice availability, microwave, coffee maker and supplies, iron, hair dryer, coded security safe, big screen televisions, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, etc. A nice size swimming pool and separate Jacuzzi as well as a nicely equipped gymnasium complement a freshly cooked breakfast with more variety of substantial protein, fruit and other goodies than one would normally expect and this adds greater value. Breakfast is available for over 3 hours every morning. Noise has never been a problem, in part because I have always been in the habit of leaving on a continuous room fan activated throughout the night to give me my desired white noise. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for such a facility and I have checked around. This may be because the city is not a huge metropolis, but it is not a podunk either. They have all of the big box stores one could want, including a huge Costco (with gas nearly a dollar under other gallon prices just 45 minutes away and inexpensive fresh Valley produce year round), several newer non-strip mall shopping centers and places for quality food, clothing, medical care, sundries, electronics, etc. Access to the hotel is really easy for a tired driver arriving at night. Security at the hotel is continuously assessed throughout the hotel and grounds. There are literally a dozen or more easy access good franchised/local restaurants within a couple of hundred feet to a quarter mile away and easy to walk to, as late as 1 a.m. All things considered, this hotel should fully satisfy anyone with any expectation of a great stay. -- A fellow traveler
