Hampton Inn Lexington Park

The hotel lobby is clean and presentable. The gentleman at check-in was attentive. The room was clean but it could use some minor repairs. i did notice that the wall baseboard had some type of spilled .. something. The AC unit needed framing and the carpet was frayed at the floor transistion with cracked tile. Thankfully yhe toom did noy smell musty as is rge case with most mid-grade hotels. Overall I was fine with the experience and already booked again for work travel.

I would have liked more fresh fruit options for breakfast, but what I was most annoyed with is the fact that I asked for maid service on the third day (when they hadn’t come at all the day before) and all they did was take out trash and give us more towels but NEVER actually cleaned the room & bathroom and didn’t touch the bed sheets. We were there 4 days and with a family you expect your room to be cleaned everyday.

The tubs need to be remodeled. Having kids after the pool I would like to put them in the bathtub. Kids are not fans of showers.

Gentleman housekeeper was so pleasant every morning. ALL the staf was friendly and nice. Would be better to have both elevators working. Only negative thing.
