I thought the breakfast needed some type of eggs and bacon or sausage of some type

Neither of the TVs( both) worked

The location

The whole property smelled like smoke.

Both good

The room above us had what sounded like several clumsy loud people with children constantly running back and forth disturbingly. Toilet was slow to flush at first, then clogged. ( didn't call bc i didn't want maintenance joining us) Breakfast food was good, the massive amount of unshowered guests with several loose children handeling everything wasn't pleasant. Rear entrance door was Never locked.

The location of the hotel is a perfect for your purposes in and around Brighton. And in spite of other reviews that complain about the pool smell…it’s not as bad as people think. The pool is right off the lobby with an open courtyard. Of course you’re gonna smell it and of course it’s going to smell like a CLEAN pool. What would you prefer as an alternate??

There were no towels in our room. I walked to the front desk and I was promptly provided with the amount I asked. So it worked out, but it’s kinda a basic thing…maybe it got overlooked. It happens but that wasn’t the greatest first impression. There was no daily cleaning or turnover of the room. Would have preferred it but got over it quick. Idk why I was surprised about the lack of parenting skills and/or lack of consideration for others at 7-8am…kids yelling and screaming and running down the halls on 2 of the 3 days we were there. That’s obviously not on the hotel to a point. People just need to do better.

Haveing to checking in 3 times the first two times the room was under construction there was a ladder in the shower in one of them lol then no mention of the hot tub not working front desk people kinda of stand offish loud hearing a lot of banging around understand there was construction going on the construction people were rude when passing them I heard the one who acted as she was a manager yelling at employees not a pleasure sorry but wouldn't recommend
