USLocation was perfect for us. The layout was perfect. The view from our room and the courtyard was amazing. It was east facing and looked directly at Mackinac Island. The sunrise is priceless.

USI loved the lake right outside the balcony door. Room was good size, comfortable bed, temperature, dark at night, not too much light. Breakfast was good with many choices. Cinnamon rolls were excellent.
I was surprised the balcony door was open when we arrived and disappointed that the refrigerator was not working after maintenance attempted to get it going. Not cool. Not sure why the phones are still in the rooms 🙃 since they are not operable.

ESWe loved the location right by the lake — the view was beautiful and it felt very peaceful. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were kind and helpful. It was super convenient that we could buy our ferry tickets directly at the hotel, and the shuttle picked us up right there to go to the dock! Breakfast was also nice and made mornings easy.
Everything was fine overall, maybe just a bit basic and outdated for the price, but we had a pleasant stay.
