"Excellent"

We were there for my son's Naval Graduation. Very close to the base. I would stay again while he is stationed in Charleston.

"summer vacation road trip"

Just stayed for one night. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Price was reasonable. Only maintenance flaw was toilet seemed to be a little loose but it didn't leak. Breakfast was good.

"it is so important that my husband has a good bed,"

"fair stay for the price point."

There were some very roudy and loud people occupying the room bellow us who had frequent loud discussions outside. My other complaint is that the breakfast was bland and the waffles sour. Lastly, the ac was off when we first entered the room so it was very hot and humid, the ac unit was very loud. On the other hand though, the staff was quiet friendly.

"Charleston SC trip"

Adequate facilities. A train goes by nearby, but it didi not disturb us. It was a good location to see Charleston sites

"U get what you pay 4"

I guess you get what you pay for. OK for the price. However for an additional $25 including tax the next night we had a 50% nicer cleaner room, carpet with no spots, a white bedcover that was free of spots, better pillows and sheets that were not tissue thin and worn out. Also an updated bathroom. For me it was worth the extra $25.
