Quality Inn Clute Freeport

Hotel was fine. Property (and rooms) could use a small refresh.

Clean, big rooms, staff made accommodations for my handicapped siblings! Staff was great!

The pictures on the website must be from another location because this location is a Super 8 hotel with a Quality Inn logo. First, there was a roach crawling on the entertainment center and my 6 year old noticed but it went into a hole so we couldn't kill it. Then as we were about to put our food in the refrigerator, there was a dead roach in the freezer section. I asked for housekeeping but the Front Desk said that housekeeping was gone for the day & it was 12:23 pm so they offered to have housekeeping come the next day. I refused and then they moved us to another room. As we were so inconveniently moving to another room, I noticed my medication was missing. I checked my luggage, the room from top to bottom-multiple times and my vehicle before I called the Front Desk to ask if anyone had been in my room. Of course they said no, yet had no proof because the Front Desk said the worker who operated the camera was not onsite and wouldn't be back until the next day. So, with my medicine disappearing, I tried to take a hot shower to avoid further stressing my children out with how much pain I was in...and the bathtub was clogged. This morning we went to the complicomplimentary breakfast and while my children were eating, an enormous cockroach struggled itself near them and literally died by their feet. Their appetites were ruined. I informed the front desk and an older lady went and swept up the roach even though she was complaining that she was already off the clock. I spoke with

Tv didn’t work. Bathroom and toilet were dirty. Black chunks of something on the floor in bathroom. Staff tried to help and gave us another room but ac didn’t work in it, so we stuck with original room. Will not stay there again. Staff there was very nice.

The smell of the room and home appliances.

The beds had dirty feeling to them and were not comfortable. Family member of ours noticed there was trash in the room before they even entered. The rooms were small and so was the shower/toilet. ROACHES in the bathroom which was a wonderful start to my morning. The coffee tasted like it was watered down with sea water. One of the pool tables had a wasp/hornet nest below it. Lots of spiders and webs inside and outside. I don’t expect some sorry apology from the owners.

I had a great stay the office personnel they were very helpful the only problem I had was in the business center the printer without being so I couldn't print up the document I needed but it was very nice clean room big I enjoyed my stay. All staff was super awesome very friendly very kind very helpful we'll stay again.
