Ramada by Wyndham Odessa Near University of Texas Permian

Stayed here a week while attending the PBIOS in October. Room was clean and comfortable Staff was courteous and helpful Hotel had just recently put new carpet and flooring in. Enjoyed my stay and will stay here again.

I didn’t partake in breakfast during my stay but FD/Management was superb in accommodation, often times ahead of my thinking having keycards for additional days already made. I didn’t get his name but he always referred to me as sir and always had a warm inviting smile on his face. He assisted with maintenance duty in getting my tv working and OVERALL made my stay worth it!!! Thank you!!!

If I was a complaining fellow(and I AM NOT)…Noise of neighboring rooms as the the property is also under renovations & doors that slam particularly hard would be the only tick off at this location…but I am certain the overall appeal of The Ramada will be worth it after renovations are complete…The new slate flooring replacing the old carpet looked fantastic!

I’ve been staying at the Ramada for months if not years and every time I see some improvements being made their customer service their rooms. Everything is jitu the new guy is very very good at what he does and he handles customer service very well. I have never even looked at other hotels, that’s how comfortable I am at this place. Changed the entire carpet in the public areas interior it’s looking really good.

It appears nicer on the web than in person. I wish I had shopped around a little more. I received an email to "upgrade" to double rooms for $15 ea. per night. that never happened, the guy at the desk didn't really speak English and could not resolve it, even after putting me on the phone with the manager/owner? Breakfast was very minimal, and both mornings the coffee ran out on me.

Basic, egg sometimes was runny, hamburger was salty. And no option to take breakfast back to room

The bed was comfortable

The bar music thumping, no carpet or flooring outside the room, the pool was dirty, everything was torn up. I guess they were going to remodel. They need to change their dinner menu, they serve lamb and goat and that's about it.
