"Excellent"

Its a serviceable roadside inn and the location is good if you want to get to Guadalupe Mountains NP. Rooms were dated, but very clean. Breakfast had several options including waffles which is nice. Pool is out of commission which was a bummer in July. All in all decent hotel at a good price

I tried several times to call and I also messaged through the app to try to cancel my reservation. The phone number provided didn't work, and I still have never gotten a response from the message I sent through the Expedia app. I was charged full price for a room I didn't use and never had a chance to cancel.

I do not like the machine check-in. I scanned my passport, it was accepted and went to the next screen. Then the face on the screen told me it did not work and that I had to provide an ID with my address on it. The machine clearly states a passport is acceptable. Passports do not have addresses, which is why I use that. The key pad to input my phone number was slow. The connection to the face on the screen was glitchy and he was difficult to understand. If I had known this was the check-in process, I would not have chosen this hotel. Bed was comfortable; room was ok. Whenever the guest in the room above used the toilet or the shower, there was a horribly loud noise. Would not stay here again.

"Not clean and bugs in the room."

There were bugs inside the room. There a weird smell and we couldn’t sleep the whole night because of the sounds from the room in the second floor.

"Questionable but the sheets seemed clean"

The room was filthy and smelled horrible but the bed sheets seemed clean and it was late & raining so we decided to stay and just leave really early. The place also looked like a hub for either construction workers or something so I don’t recommend women traveling alone to stay here.
