The location was perfect for my trip. Very Nice restaurant located on the adjacent parking lot. Parking lot well lit. The property was clean and recently renovated.

I didn’t like that I didn’t get the room I requested. I reserved a room with a king bed and sofa and was assigned a room with a king bed and chair. The pool was under construction and closed. The breakfast had lots of options including eggs, Meat, grits, fruit, baked goods, yogurt.

The tv was excellent. Most of all the staff were wonderful, very thoughtful, friendly and caring. The holiday decorations were so cute and the coffee and decaf coffee were very good. Location was great -- close to everything we needed. The rooms were clean and we loved the wall attached pump bottles of hair products, soap and moisturizer. The key card was fabulous -- so easy to get into the room.

When we double-checked our wake up call the new front desk person said it had never been set by the last person. We checked out at 4AM and had to search and wait for the person who was in the bathroom. Unfortunately they had head phones on and couldn't hear us -- maybe leave a sign "be right back"? The breakfast was very average -- nothing spectacular.

The staff and especially manager are very rude . The rooms did not feel clean, chair was stained and felt dirty . We called the front desk for a noon checkout and mistakenly got charged for a 2pm checkout. The lady at front desk supposedly corrected this, except when I never received my security deposit back (75$) I called and spoke with a manager who told me I WAS charged for late checkout . Never had this experience at a hotel before. They never disclosed there would be a charge for late checkout, and leaving at Noon on a normal 11am checkout does not warrant a 75$ fee I'm sorry. The manager acted like he didn't care at all and offered nothing to make it right or show customer care. Absolutely terrible service. It's a shame because I come to the area often as do my family but I will NEVER stay here again and I'll make sure I tell everyone I know to do the same. Shame on these crooks Edited to add the shower pressure was ridiculously low . One thing I look forward to at a hotel is a nice hot shower and this was not the case here. I can't believe I paid the price I did for this hotel. I'm sure they jacked the price up due to a concert at Hampton coliseum . 100 would be fair per night for a place like this. I paid ,486$ for two nights and got treated disrespectfully by management . That's a lose lose for this hotel.
