"The stay was very good hotel with great staff . Very attentive."

Breakfast was good. Location for what we had to do was not obvious for us, but it served it's purpose for not having no other choice or options to be closer to Hampden-Sydney College 2024 graduation.

It was ok. Had to drive hour and half to Hampden-Sydney College. Hotel was good for us due to all others in college area full or too expensive for two nights. But, unfortunately, had ended up at college going through back roads from hotel.

"AWFUL!"

awful! nothing.

Smelled like WEED! connecting door was unlocked and there was a man sleeping in the next room, hotel was dirty and no soap was even provided, bed was itchy - so itchy I thought i was being bit by bugs, and it smelled so bad I couldn't even think of breakfast. NO WAY I will ever stay here again. What a miserable experience.

"Wonderful room and friendly staff"

We stayed in a whirlpool room for a weekend stop on our trip. Room was incredibly clean, tub was pleasant and worked perfectly, and the bed was comfortable. I was very happy with how friendly and personable both the late night and early morning staff were when we checked in and out. We didn’t have a single issue while staying but had the impression that if we did we would receive prompt assistance. Very enjoyable.

"Friendly staff and good breakfast but room left much to be desired."

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a good selection for breakfast and the eating area was clean and well tended. The location was perfect and right on our travel path and the room was quiet.

The room was very dusty and there were large crumbs underneath the furniture. The bathroom was fine but I felt it could be cleaner. There was a stain on the ice bucket lid. The main complaint was that the room smelled musty and stale.
