Tivoli Coimbra Hotel

Good location. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Staff was very responsive to some minor issues. Remote control had dead batteries and the first room we checked into had a housekeeping problem. We were swiftly moved to a nicer room with apologies.

This is an aging hotel and it shows. The wear and tear gives it an air of needing a thorough cleaning.

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was the bomb, slept like a rock. Check in check out was straightforward. Breakfast was a good mix.

Room wasn’t set up for three people, only two bath towels and two coffee cups and two glasses etc. went to call room service and found out phone was not connected. Parking lot was a mouse maze to access. Genius level three and still had to pay for breakfast. TV volume did not work. If you travel enough you have stays like this once in a blue moon.

Convenient location and big room

The room needs a bit of an update, pictures looked a bit nicer then what it actually was

The hotel is located near the center of the city, but away from noise. It is clean, comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. It is very close to the train station Coimbra B, where stop all trains coming from Lisbon and Porto.

Hotel rooms and breakfast area desperately need a renovation.

Kind and efficient staff

Dated old fashioned rooms (old spotted carpets). Very sad and limited breakfast in terms of diversity (not quantity).

I didn't know that the parking was €13,- night!!! th rooms are not taken care of and aren´t really clean
