Truckee Donner Lodge

My room was spacious and clean. Loved the option for a hot breakfast and the 24/7 coffee machine was great as well. I used the hot tub and it was perfectly toasty and clean. Location was also very close to historic downtown Truckee near a lot of eateries.

There wasn't really much I didn't like. I would stay here again!

ROOM VERY NICE, EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN

BREAKFAST DID NOT TASTE GOOD, BACON WAS AWFUL AND NOTHING WAS OFFERED TO DRINK BUT COFFEE, NO JUICE OR ANYTHING, I KNOW ITS JUST A CONTINETAL BREKFAST BUT SHOULD AT LEAST TASTE GOOD.

Room was very roomy.

The pool was dirty and the jacuzzi. Outdated TV, Very small fridge for a family suite. Bed size was not even queens size beds and couch was like in the 60’s era. 😬

Everything was excellent as always the room always a grand size the pillows have both medium and super soft the sheets are soft the bed spread is super comfortable the shower/ tub is a decent size the channels to the TV are abundant they have a desk for you to work at if needed they also have a comfortable chair you can sit on or place luggage on they have a clock radio that doubles as a cellphone charger there is a microwave a personal coffee maker with coffee included cups and a small refrigerator and if you wake up in the morning from 6 -9 you can enjoy a free continental breakfast depending upon the day it's either scrambled eggs with sausage or cheese omelet with bacon they also have a make your own pancakes they also have a small selection of breads from English muffin to waffles to various muffins and various baggles you also have a choice of 3 different cold cereals you can also get cream cheese and 2 different types of yogurt the kitchen staff are always super friendly they wipe down the tables and keep everything stocked as a bonus you can get free coffee / hot chocolate / tea 24 hours a day they also have a drinking fountain with a tall water dispenser if you prefer to just have water the pool was closed on each of my visits so I can't advise you on that but this property is small but very comfortable if you are a book reader they have a small library with a desk or you can walk a little further and sit down infront of the fire place and read until your hearts content if you want there is a trail by the hotel a nice coffee house a gas station with plenty of snacks or if you want you can walk a little further to the taco bell I highly recommend staying at this property all the young ladies are very beautiful and are a great source of information just ask and 9 out of 10 times they can direct you to one of there favorite spots

The pool was closed but it's winter time it was obvious which isn't really a good or a bad thing the price fluctuates but as with everything it's expected
