Quality Inn Litchfield Route 66

Clean and quiet. Good water pressure. The evening staff when I checked in was very nice. Since I was only in my room to sleep, it was a good choice for me for the price and the location.

The mattress was lumpy. I slept well, but was worried that the mattress would make me stiff the next morning. The tornado warning siren went off. The clerk at the front desk was not very helpful. My home state, New Mexico, does not get tornados, so I would have liked some information about what the siren meant, what to do if I saw a tornado coming, etc. One of the other guests at the front desk recommended that I go to my room and turn on the news for more information, which was good advice. And, I finally got the front desk clerk to say that if I was worried I could go hang out in the bathrooms on the main floor behind the reception desk. Breakfast was bare bones. Some chopped pecans, raisins, and craisins for the oatmeal and waffles would have been nice. Glad sugar free syrup was offered. Bacon would be good.

I didn’t like that the handicap parking was so far away from the door. I have a handicapped sister and the distance she had to walk to get to the door was inconvenient. Instead the “choice” customers received the preferred parking places. Personally I think that is wrong. And the charging ports in the rooms are not working and haven’t worked since 6 months ago

Breakfast was good, though the gravy for the biscuits and gravy was a little too runny. Otherwise the breakfast was good.

The AC/Heater wasn't putting out enough cold air evn though we had it set at 72 degrees and it was noisy. There weren't enough towels and washclothes for our use. Your AI system absoluteky sucks. Tried making the reservation at the 217 area code and it was a joke. Toilet was really low.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room I had was clean. The breakfast was very good and had a lot more than I expected. Bed was comfortable.

The only thing I didn't like was cell service wasn't great in the area but that's not the fault of the hotel (at least for my carrier).

Me and my husband were in the pool and the front desk just shut the lights off without checking to see if anyone was in there and that was almost an hour before pool closed. Soap and lotion, shampoo, conditioner bottles were practically empty. housekeeping did not remove trash

The bed was very uncomfortable. Our sheets were dirty covered with a lip stick and there were wraps underneath the comforter on the bed.
