Ramada Limited - Columbia

I want to be fair about this review. This hotel is in a terrible location (difficult to find). The staff were friendly enough. The WiFi was scant. And the air conditioner was loud. The room was dated and had a stained and torn sofa. Breakfast was available only from 6-9 am which for some might be disappointing. It was nothing to write home about. It had amenities that were expected. All but the pool and the workout room. They said the workout room was being renovated, but I walked by, and it looked like they use it for storage. So, this was disappointing, but the ymca wasn’t too far, so I went there. The price was too high for this hotel that is in dire need of updating both the physical hotel itself and the listing as certain things are not available. I am at another Ramada now that is way better and way cheaper in Asheville NC.

The hotel is conveniently located off of the highway and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. The hotel is clean but the rooms could need to be updated with new furniture and there need more outlets (easily accessible) to accommodate electronic devices.

Great time

Property was convenient in location and availability. Room had a musty odor that grew worse when the AC was used. Floors and restroom were also outdated and dingy.

Clean, safe, quiet, comfortable bed and very reasonably priced. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful. Excellent continental breakfast including make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs, bagels, toast, muffins, cereal, fruit, etc. FAR better than most budget motels. I would definitely stay again!

Needs updating bathroom could use a good scrubbing, I guess they have a problem with humidity there , there was a dehumidifier that needed to be manually emptied twice a day,

The location is adjacent to I 20, but due to ongoing construction was a bit tricky finding, initially. The room and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was pretty much standard fare - adequate to getting back on the road to continue our trip.

Clean and organized! Location is good. Very close to commercial area. Welcoming and friendly
