Fairfield Inn & Suites Detroit Livonia

Rooms were clean. Staff was was friendly. Indoor pool was nice. Gym was poor. Treadmill and other equipment did not work or stopped working while In use.

Fitness room was tiny, it felt crowded with two people in there...

Directions on how to use automated curtain in room would have been helpful.

Once we see Belin at the front desk, all of troubles go away.

Have been here quite a few times recently and each time has been comfortable and enjoyable. Staff are very courteous and helpful whatever issue has come up.

Situato veramente a un tiro di schioppo dall'uscita della I-96, il Fairfield Inn & Suites di Livonia è un piccolo gioiellino che, a un prezzo che non ti aspetti, offre la possibilità di soggiornare in un ambiente assolutamente confortevole. Le camere sono veramente molto ampie, pulitissime e ben strutturate con pavimenti in moquette e un arredamento moderno e funzionale (nell'armadio sono presenti una quantità industriale di appendiabiti). I letti sono comodissimi ed è possibile scegliere tra una selezione di cuscini vari. In camera, sono presenti un frigo bar e una macchina da caffè con una serie di cialde omaggio (sfortunatamente adatta solo per tè, tisane o per il tradizionale caffè americano, ma non per un espresso...). Il bagno è composto da un antibagno con lavabo (soluzione comoda e funzionale) e il bagno vero e proprio che comprende anche una grande vasca/doccia! Da segnalare la fornitura di una quantità molto abbondante di eccellenti prodotti da bagno (tra saponi, bagnodoccia, shampoo e addirittura un balsamo per capelli), oltre alla presenza di numerosi asciugamano in tutte le taglie e le dimensioni possibili. Presenti anche un ristorante e una piscina interni. La colazione, di tipo intercontinentale, viene servita nella apposita saletta sita al piano terra, fronte alla reception, e comprende una ampia (anche se non troppo assortita) selezione di prodotti dolci e salati. Tuttavia, non è possibile richiedere un espresso o un cappuccino e bisogna accontentarsi di latte (intero, scremato, di soia e quant'altro) e del classico caffé lungo americano, oltre a vari tè e tisane. L'esterno è curatissimo, con piante e prati verdi e consta di un ampio parcheggio privato a disposizione dei clienti.

Nulla, tutto assolutamente perfetto. A voler cercare il pelo nell'uovo, forse sarebbe stata gradita la presenza di qualche snack o qualche bevanda all'interno del frigo bar (al contrario, è possibile acquistarne al piano terra nei pressi della reception). Inoltre, anche la colazione potrebbe essere un tantino più assortita. Ma stiamo veramente parlando di sottigliezze e di gusti personali che nulla tolgono alla qualità superiore del Fairfield Inn & Suites di Livonia.

My stay was only one night, but I would have any problem staying again. I did not take advantage of the many perks, but had a great overnighter.

Clean room, pool

The front desk staff was very welcoming and kind.

The pool was freezing cold and the bathroom and tile floor in our room was disgusting! When I called the front desk they assured me the housekeepers would come in and clean properly. When we returned all they did was remove a few hairs off the floor. Yet the mold on the shower curtain, hair and dirt in the tub, floors and on the toilet were not cleaned properly. I just gave up and used my own cleaning supplies since im a professional cleaner back home and cleaned the way it should be. The room itself wasn't bad other than the tables were dirty but I had to note at booking my child has health issues and the room needs to be tip top no dust or filth. But I have stayed at alot of hotels all over Michigan and this one was better of them all. Even though my advise I know won't be honored still I'm going to give it to the owners and staff; please double check your employees work and keep up on them for sanitation purposes and cleanliness. Also the pool temperature so we all can come and enjoy our stay fully.
