Please note that the property does not accept pets other than dogs. Only one dog per room is accepted and must have up to 10 kg. They can only be accommodated in the sea view rooms and are subject to an extra cost. Dogs are not allowed in the public areas (restaurants, bars, swimming pool). Pets are not allowed in other rooms. Please note that the dinner supplement is made of a set menu and does not include beverages. Please note that the name of the guest must be the same of the credit card used to make the reservation. Please note that for reservations with more than 4 rooms, are nonrefundable and must be fully prepaid at the time of the reservation. A security deposit of EUR 300 per room is required at check-in for stays between 3 and 5 July 2026. The deposit will be refunded at check-out after a room inspection, provided no damage is found. Due to the Afronation festival, the hotel’s beach concession (sunbeds and umbrellas) will be unavailable from 1 June to 15 July 2026.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Parking is subject to availability due to limited spaces. A deposit may be required at the property.

Lage des Hotels und Strand ist perfekt. Angestellte sind sehr nett. Frühstück war sehr gut. Gartenanlage des yHotels ist gepflegt.

Ist nicht mehr 5 Stern!! Höchstens 3 Stern wen überhaupt. Man müsste die Zimmer /Balkon usw dringend renovieren!! Balkontüre kein Schloss, fehlt!! Wurde am Anfang festgestellt und der Reception mitgeteillt. War bei der Abreise immer noch gleich.. man konnte Balkontüre nicht schliessen !! Es war bei Zimmer 101!!Fenster können nicht mehr sauber werden..da der schmutz und Kalk tief sitzt. Das Hotel sieht nur zur Strassenseite schön aus. Der Eingangsbereich/ Reception war auch noch einigermassen auf dem Stand von heute. Sonst im Gang und auf den Zimmern alles Uralt und ungepflegt. Die drei Lifte sind uralt. Am Strand unten gab es defekte Liegestühle. Zudem wurden sie wahrscheinlich nie gereinigt am Abend. Beim Strand unten hat es eine Holzhütte , die beim nächsten Sturm ganz zusammenfällt! Sie dient als Materiallager und Aufenthaltsort für den Angestellten der zum Strand (Sonnenschirme/ Liegestuhle) des Hotels schauen muss. Die Türen beim Zimmer haben riesige spalten und es ist sehr sehr ringhörig. Entspricht alles nicht dem 5 Sterne Standart.

"Fabulous relaxing stay."

The hotel is located on the main strip of Praia da Rocha on the more sedate end of the strip. Facilities are generally good, reception is spacious and lovely and cool. The bar and restaurant have stunning views. Food is good, the menu is varied albeit a little pricey especially for the sandwich offerings. The breakfast buffet is superb. The choice and variety of breakfast foods and beverages is exceptional. Rooms are spotless and well appointed. Staff are friendly and extremely courteous

Three minor issues. 1. I was travelling with my 73 year old mother. Room 841 is a little bit of a trek away from reception the main issue is a lack of a lift from reception area to the long corridor to lift to take you to corridor the room is on. Issue with carrying luggage down a spiral stairs on arrival and up on departure. 2. The pool needs a good clean the original pool seems to have been relined and in place this liner is lifting. The water overflow channels needs a proper power washing it leaves the 5 star status down. 3. The TV in our room 841 was functional but had a small area damaged on the top left hand corner. As we were not there to watch TV I didn’t report it, with the benefit of hindsight I should have . On our day of departure, when we returned to the hotel to collect our luggage, I was accosted by one of the managers, and whilst I was not outright accused of damaging the TV, I felt as if I wasn’t believed when I explained I hadn’t caused the damage. I am 45 and my mother is 73. I think at our ages the prospect of partying is well and truly over. It just left a little sour taste on what was overall a great stay.

As pessoas eram todas atenciosas, educadas. Este é o único ponto positivo do hotel como um todo.

Em resumo, este hotel não deveria ser mais um 5 estrelas, há muitos anos. Está com uma decoração parada no tempo, inúmeros pontos de humidade vísiveis nas paredes, pequeno almoço completamente cheio, opções muito simples para um hotel 5 estrelas. O cheiro do hotel, como um todo, é ruim. Não por conta de falta de limpeza, mas por ser muito velhor, sem manutenções. O parque de estacionamento incluso em algumas tarifas fica a 300 metros de distância, o que é ruim e pouco prático.
