My first room wasn’t so clean but then they upgraded me to a bigger room no charge:)

I am a regular customer, I stay here a couple nights a week every month. I got put in a handicap room on the floor with a walk in shower. It was very noisy next to the pool and people above me were loud and I couldn't get WiFi which is a necessity for me. It was the worst experience I have had here in the almost four years I have stayed here.

Staff are friendly

The place was very clean, comfortable, and secure. Located in a very good location. It was little small but the room was enough.

Front desk was awesome and left us check in early . Our balcony connected to two other rooms with no barrier . The bathtub was either stained brown or was dirty. Room 211. The room was remodeled . The bed was hard like a rock . The couch was nice . Dinner at the bistro was good ! Our waitress was fabulous. We went back for breakfast. I’m not sure what happened. I ordered a coffee. They forgot me . A baseball team was there . Only two staff . They seemed confused if they were just making coffee or the bistro was opened . No menus were provided. They seemed overwhelmed and confused.

My truck was vandalized, robbed and ransacked while staying at this Marriott July 2025. My truck was parked at this Marriot cause I was staying there, as I flew out and came back. My truck was robbed, window was smashed and some of my personal items were strewn in parking lot. management didn’t care , just a shoulder shrug and said “ it is Portland” . Management did give me a broom to clean up the glass and my truck though, thanks for that. Ironically though the thieves were very nice, they shut my doors after ransacking my vehicle ( being sarcastic) imo, im sure someone saw what was happening and shut my doors and never contacted me. My opinion, this was a targeted, planned theft because of my out of state plates. Be careful here at this hotel. After paying full price for my almost week stay, I had to get my window replaced and start my drive home to NY. My advice, don’t stay at this hotel, seems like a normal issue here

It was right on the river and a good location for us, with our kids across river in Vancouver. On site parking. Nicely appointed rooms, with M/W and fridge, big screen TV.

Bar closed earlier than told at check in and nothing close by as alternative. Parking was not free. Breakfast (“included with room” but upcharge over non-breakfast room) didn’t have much choice - not a buffet (which we didn’t want/need) but more choice than either A or B would have been nicer.
