Good hotel, but room was very hot and windows didn’t open far. Glad they had a fan in the room.

This hotel is in a beautiful location in a historic dock building. The rooms are nice with large windows that open for fresh air. There is no AC. The elevators are pretty small, and it's a hike up 4 stories of stairs to the reception area. The included breakfast is great and includes pancakes, cereal, breads, fruits, eggs, and of course baked beans

Comfortable rooms, great location

Friendly staff were very helpful when we arrived early, allowing us to store luggage in their luggage room whilst we went to our conference. This hotel is an excellent location for the conference centre - just a short walk away so you can easily pop back if you need to do some work. Room is good, I would have appreciated a little more room but I had an inverted bay window which removed space from the room. Breakfast was excellent with space for everyone, even thought the hotel was busy. Well located in the Albert Dock complex where there are plenty of options for meals. The only downsides - the ground floor entrance to access the lift to reception is cobbled so suitcases bounce around as you're coming in - a carpet across to the doors would help slightly with this. Additionally one lift was out of order for a couple of days which mean we were challenged and had to use the stairs up to the hotel which is located on the 2nd floor so you already have quite a climb just to get to the lowest floor for rooms.

Location of hotel was excellent for easy access to a range of amenities within a few minutes walk, the centre of Liverpool, the Ferry Terminal, the Arena and exhibition centre, Room very good, except view of Albert Dock obscured by dirty windows. Won’t pay higher amount for ‘view’ next time. Room itself was great with comfy bed, lovely easy to use shower and very quiet room (308). Definitely recommend and will come back. Breakfast straight forward, not a large selection of hot meal choice, but ‘did the job’. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful.
