Sympathetic use of an old building

Great hotel, location and breakfast was very good

I usually love this property and its accessibility. But this time, I was there for 6 nights, and it was kind of a nightmare. Starting around 7:15-7:30 am, doors started to SLAM on either side of the room I was in causing my door to rattle. One morning I was woken up so bad my heart was pounding severely. I looked and on each side was a cleaning person’s closet. Don’t know if they have auto shuts or they’re just used to slamming them. But it was awful. Never stay on the 4th floor facing the dock. I hate to complain and I never do, but for the money this time, it was NOT worth it.

Very welcoming snd friendly staff. A smile goes a long way. Gave local hotel information upon arrival.rrceotion staff went above and beyond to store my luggage. Catering staff friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Very comfy bed. Fan was provided as no air conditioning in the room, which was fine. Bathroom clean and ample towels, body wash, shampoo provided. Tv wasnt very good, turned on once and not after that. Although i wasnt nuch bothered as enjoyed the peace and quiet. I was on the 3rd floor, room 343. Lifts in good working order. Close to the docks, beetles museum, ACC, plenty eateries and pubs. Id definitely stay here again. Thank you

We were on holiday from Canada, and this made a great spot from which to visit Liverpool. Lots of restaurants and places to visit nearby.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn at the Albert Dock was a great stay. Buffet breakfast was cooked perfectly and plentyful. Beds very comfortable. The room was clean and rooms cleaned daily. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Sandra the cleaner!! Just one negative, we wasnt informed in advance of a new 'holiday tax' that is charged nightly by hotels.com and had to pay it when we checked in. Hotels.com should inform their customers of any extras etc.

Average hotel not the best of layout with reception being on 2nd floor and needing to use lifts what are slow and dated

Common first floor areas a bit unkept but its mainly just an entry area.

Lovely stay, polite staff great location.
