Bit scruffy outside but not the hotel property.

Well the front door was bet hou had to push this big heavy door the reception was on the second floor to which I don’t like the lift so climbing many stairs . Breakfast was good but won’t be staying here again

Need to better explain clearly the location of the parking garage, how to pay for parking with the hotel discount and anticipate the inherent ignorance of the guests of the challenges that they might encounter. There is a hidden office at the garage where a real person can assist you in paying for parking so you can bypass the machines and take advantage of the hotel voucher. Hotel staff neglected to fill me with these details until after the fact.

This is a very cool property to stay in when visiting Liverpool. The building itself is historic, and you’re in one of the history-rich areas of the city. The building retains a lot of its original architecture, and the rooms have been built to preserve what’s been there as much as possible. So don’t be surprised to find the odd pole in a room or hallway. The weather was unusually warm for my stay, but opening a window helped cool the room. The bed was clean and comfortable and the room itself was spotless. Two negatives, minor, were that I found the room at night to be a little too dark in spots, even with all the lamps on; and the shower floor was a bit slippery and required extra care to prevent falls. Also note that the elevators are quite slow; taking the stairs was generally much faster. Highly recommended overall.

The checking in was easy and knowledgeable

Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are thinking about staying in Liverpool. Quirky hotel on the Albert dock.
