Holiday Inn Express Albert Dock by IHG

Brilliant location right in the heart of the Albert Dock - all the sights were walkable, or on a short bus journeys ride. Buffet breakfast was incredible! So much choice and staying in the hotel with 2 children who are fussy eaters can be a nightmare but there was something for everyone - pancakes with fruit and Nutella was a definite win! Rooms were big and comfortable - only thing was the bed was a bit too soft but that’s only personal opinion. Amazing view of the Dock and Liver building and staff were so friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.

Great place for long or short holidays. Comfortable beds. Many attractions, ships and restaurants nearby.

This is our fifth stay in The Holiday Inn Express at Liverpool Albert Dock. We book so often as we always have an excellent experience. The location is fabulous and the hotel itself is a beautifully renovated original dock building with all it’s original character. The staff are and have always been helpful, friendly and informative. Particularly Tasha on Reception. The room was comfortable, cosy and immaculately clean. The fact that we were given an upgrade at no extra cost made our Valentines stay all the more special. We had a fantastic view of the Albert Dock, the River Mersey and the very magestic Liver Building. The complimentary breakfast had a great number of food options to meet all tastes. The hot buffet was regularly refreshed so that everyone who wanted could have a hot, tasty breakfast. Food items were labelled noting if they did not contain gluten which is very important for myself as I am gluten intolerant and often struggle when eating out. To summarise, this hotel is a fantastic base to sample all that the vibrant, lively and cultured city of Liverpool has to offer and explore. We will certainly be booking to continue our adventures in Luverpool.

I have stayed here many times and always come back Staff are friendly and I like the building and proximity to the waterfront Bathrooms are beginning to show their age and we had a funky heating system that was extremely noisy as radiators kicked on and off. But next time I am In the city will probably revisit

Always my go to hotel when in Liverpool. Clean, great breakfast options, bar, friendly staff. Will aim to get a room overlooking the internal dock next time.
