Holiday Inn Express Silver City by IHG

Door stuck and was very difficult to open. Shower water was not very hot.

It seems that the hotel seemed to have recently been remodeled. It was clean and well-maintained.

I was charged another 100.00 when I got to the prooerty after already paying for the room online. I would have went to a nicer hotel if I wanted to spend more on a room.

Absolutely horrible experience booking through Google for this hotel. Their customer service is beyond terrible—rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. They refused service to a college student moving back home to California just because he was carrying a temporary ID from New Mexico—even though he’s a California resident and a Californian. Their excuse? They don’t rent rooms to New Mexico residents. Never mind the fact that he’s not actually a resident—just someone unfortunate enough to have had to live there temporarily. To make things worse, they never even confirmed the cancellation. Now, instead of them handling their mistake, I have to track down the refund myself because, of course, they’ve decided that’s my responsibility, not theirs. New Mexico is already bad enough, but this hotel somehow makes it worse. And the worst part? This is considered one of the better hotels in the area. That alone should tell you everything. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being stranded, treated like an inconvenience, and tracking down the funds you paid up front!

What a dump! Under construction.. Very noisy!! Contractors yelling in the hall at 7am No laundry facilities available, no ice machines available. Bathroom was filthy, NO toiletries were provided, no top on the bathroom tank. Room was filthy, construction dust all over the walls, furniture, ice bucket, keurig.. heat/AC not working. Refrigerator Not working.

This property is under construction , not only is it Extremely loud in the morning. The toxic odor from the carpet glue made me sick. I left in the middle of the night to check into a different hotel . I began getting a horrible headache, and dizzy from the odors and chemical smells . They did not tell Me untiI I arrived that it was under construction we arrived late and did not want to try to locate a new hotel, but it became unbearable by 1 am and we left for another hotel So not stay unless the construction is completed

Lovely staff. Good location. Inaccurate statements on web. Breakfast is highly limited due to renovations. Limited pastries, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon. 3 dry cereals and a flat of warmed cinnamon buns. Only one juice, cranberry. No fitness center and limited parking. Not up to brand's standards. Would have booked elsewhere if we had known before checking in as to the limitations and construction conditions in advance. Kudos to the staff who have maintained a level of professionalism and courtesy despite these conditions

Nobody told us the hotel was under renovation. Elevators were covered with plastics to be protected but it was ugly to step on it and you could hear a scary noise when it stopped. Smoke free hotel (just on your web page) but lots of pot smell down the corridors all the time. For breakfast we waited until the lady in charge arrived and 30 minutes later she told us breakfast was just partially available because of the renovations. It was a real SCAM. I'm very angry with Booking.com because of these comments. All these were filmed.
