Courtyard by Marriott Canton

Everything as expected in a Courtyard. Nice environment and the hot tub was nice n hot.

The hotel itself was nice. The lobby was comfortable, adjacent to a bar and I liked the indoor pool and fitness room. If it wasn't for the poor service I would've given a much higher rating.

Very nice stay

Unfortunate that this hotel is falling apart. The rooms are dated and the hotel front desk staff is not up to par. Checked in virtually and paid, however I did not receive my mobile key so I had to stop by the front desk. I was informed that check-in was 3:00 PM and a key would be issued then. Never had a problem before when checking in virtually on the app and being told the room was ready to get a hard key when the virtual key was not coming through. I asked if the room was ready and was told it is hut check in is 3. I waited 45 mins in the lobby to get a hard key because the mobile key never arrived. The lobby was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Food stains on the floor and tables. Trash can full from the lunch or night before. WiFi was spotty and not reliable in the lobby or in the rooms. Rooms need upgrading. Bathrooms need repaired. Not what you expect from a Courtyard franchise hotel:

Was a very enjoyable stay. Quiet , clean & a delicious Bistro on the premises .

Staff was friendly, room was okay, buffet breakfast option was pretty basic, but good enough (scrambled eggs, potatoes, French toast, bacon, sausages and mini finishes). Pool area was nice and big, and pool itself was a good size for the kids, but showing some signs of age. Hotel is close to a lot of food and shopping options, which makes it fairly convenient.

Bathroom was dirty and no hot water

Needed brighter lighting in the room for applying my makeup at the wall mirror

Great staff. The rooms and common areas still feel like 1990s. Stains on carpet in room gave me pause before walking barefoot in room.
