The location

There were two staff at the desk during my check in and were busy with the person ahead kf me but no one offered to help with my bags. The person who did breakfast (melony) was rude and abrasive. She never introduced herself or said good morning. Then asked for my room number without first given a reason. Then tried to charge for breakfast on my checkout date. She was nice to the other guest and greeted other guest. Also the previous guest set the alarm to 7 or 8 am and it woke me up when I wanted to sleep in after a long day of traveling the day before. The bartender needs to learn how to make a cosmopolitan.

The closeness to the highway

The bathroom was not very clean and the wall hooks for the shower curtain were broken

I asked about breakfast and was told it was available and was given the hours . I asked if there was a charge and the staff member looked at the computer screen and said “ no… it is included in price you paid for room.” Next morning after we began eating, I was presented with a bill for over $30 I explained we were told it was included but staff member and front desk person said No

You could still smell the fresh paint as it was recently updated. Everything was very clean and the bed was so comfortable.

I like to sleep cold. The thermostat in my room never went below 73 even though I had it set at 65. I ended up with a headache and nose bleed from the heat. I did bring it to their attention when I was checking out.
