Nice size room. Several plugs in the room did not work. Breakfast starts early but was probably the worst holiday inn breakfast I have had. Usually you can at least eat cinnamon rolls but they were so over cooked they were extremely hard.

"Great stopover for DTW flights"

We were on a connecting flight from Detroit and needed to stay overnight. This hotel was very convenient. We arrived at the airport and went ground transportation. This hotel offers free shuttle service both ways. Look for the red shuttle with the holiday inn express logo on the side. They arrive about every 5-10 minutes. Easy way to hotel. The hotel was clean, rooms well stocked and offer a free breakfast starting at 5:30am. No frills such as a pool, but it is great for an airline stopover. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Every 30 minutes, a shuttle arrives to take you to the airport. Our room had frig and microwave. A small plaza is next door with a pizza place and subway. The shuttle will take you to the same pickup place. My go to at DTW.
