We loved the spaciousness, the comfort, and the cleanliness

Average age 70, so we found the electronic keys challenging but we did eventually get the hang of it once we found the magic door

I liked the rooms. They were big and spacious. The kitchen is a good size. They had all the pots, pans, plates, cutlery, microwave, refrigerator, cooking spoons and generally all the things you would like to see in a Kitchen. There was also a lovely balcony with a Washing machine which we did not use. It was super quiet. I wondered if there were any other people living there. No traffic from the road etc. It was actually a nice apartment. There were complementary towels in each room plus soap, shampoo, tissue and conditioner. That was a nice touch. I liked the fact that there was no concierge and you just sort of let yourself in. Very futuristic. I like! The elevators worked well. The hot water was piping hot in the bathrooms and kitchen. All in all, I would definitely stay here again without a doubt. On the day of checkout, a Cleaner magically appeared around 12 to quickly check the apartment and give a seal of approval. He was very nice. There is a CONDIS supermarket next door that had all the food and things you could want. Plus the train station is about 10 minutes walk away and you could be in the Placa de Catalunya in about 20 minutes tops! Also the master bathroom is massive. It's almost as big as a bedroom with two sinks. Very fancy. The TV in the living room comes on to Netflix straight away so you can just log in to your account and enjoy your favorite shows. The area outside is peaceful and quiet and the office staff are always quick to respond via email. I also like the idea of opening the doors via an app. A nice touch.

I didn't like the fact that the Internet in the apartment doesn't reach downstairs so that means that if you come to the apartment without any internet from your home country, you can't connect to the Wi-Fi in the flat as it is too far away and therefore can't get into the apartment. Also there was a problem with my phone not granting permission to the Akiles app so it wouldn't open the door till I flicked the bottom to grant it permission. People who are not so well versed in technology would struggle. Also the bedside lamp in my room didn't work and a few sockets need fixing as they look a bit undone. Also one of the rooms didn't have a duvet in the cupboard and it did get quite cold at night. The guest bathroom doesn't drain water fast enough so when you are having a shower, it can feel like you're bathing in your own swill at times. The water does eventually drain but it's a bit too slow for my liking. I don't like stepping in my own bath water. I also didn't like the fact that there was no soap holder in the shower so I had to keep reaching out to keep my soap on the bathroom sink. A towel holder near the shower would also have been nice. I also don't know if there is any central heating in the flat because I didn't find any. The living room furniture is also a bit pedestrian. It could be updated a little bit. It's very dormitory esque. Heated toilet seats would have been nice. Lastly it would have been nice to get some pamphlets telling you how to get to the train station, how much tickets cost, popular tourist sites, like a guide to Barcelona.
