Residence Inn by Marriott Wilmington Landfall

Rooms were extremely dirty, lights were dim, halls were smelly, garbage pail in front overflowing, breakfast buffet - food ran out on a Sunday, had to wait 20 minutes for it to be replenished. Only good thing was the Manager who took care of us in the end. Booked here on Expedia and upon checking out found out that Expedia charges a fee per night for the room. Hotel bill was actually $170 less, the additional $170 went to Expedia, this was NEVER shown on the breakdown upon booking. Had I not complained to the hotel manager I would've never seen this additional monies taken by Expedia, they charge a fee like an Airbnb & VRBO does. Do yourself a favor and book directly through the hotel, DO NOT USE EXPEDIA when booking a hotel room

Nice property, convenient location, and nice staff. Dark hallways and goofy elevation that starts to close 3 times before closing all the way. Large quiet room with comfortable bed, large desk and full kitchen. Unfortunately, there were some stains on the furniture – yuck. The complementary hot/cold breakfast bar was convenient.

Not too far from the beach , 10 min drive

We stayed there a few days. We like the location. It is a short drive to the beach. Staff is very friendly, room is clean, so is the pool. Their breakfast has much better quality than other Residence Inn I stayed. The elevator is slow. Since the building only has three floors, it didn't bother us to take stairs.

Great, stay! The continental breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, all the staff was very helpful, especially Jess at the front desk with recommendations and what not. I’ve never had a full kitchen in a hotel room; we were able to save money by cooking. Best quality lotion/shampoo products I’ve used at a hotel as well. Oh And the strawberry lemon water was a nice touch as well. Thank you guys.

Overall a great stay the breakfast was amazing and the service was friendly and the room was clean

It was close to the ocean and close to shopping, love the pickle ball court and the breakfast! We hope to use the pool, but it was closed for cleaning each time we went to use it. There was a heavyset guy that spent a good two hours cleaning it. It probably was the cleanest pool in the county, it just wasn't ever open for us to use in the morning!

Was very clean and rooms were updated .
