Residence Inn by Marriott Wilmington Landfall

The location

The air conditioning in my room was not working. They knew it and promised it would work. I went to dinner and hoped that it would be working by then. It was not. I had to change hotels entirely with 2 kiddos at 10 pm. They called another Marriot in the area only when we asked. No proactively trying to solve it

Good experience overall. Pool was unfortunately closed. Location good between beach and downtown.

We stayed 4 years ago when it was being renovated. They basically painted the kitchen cupboards. We stayed this time in a suite. It was so small. Small bed. Bathroom outdated shower in bath with shower curtain. Kitchen is antiquated old old appliances. Very dark and dreary. Our room constantly smelled of boiled potatoes.

If you are looking for a hotel that makes you feel like part of the family; look no further. We stayed for 4 days/ 3 nights for a wedding/ family reunion. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. But Lydia was a life saver for me in my time of need! Day of the wedding when all things could go wrong, were! She came in clutch and helped save the day! Thanks Lydia.

The stay at the Residence Inn Landfall was wonderful. After a misunderstanding at the beginning of the stay, quickly rectified by Bill at reception, everything was great. The customer service at this hotel is second to none. Dee and Tristan at the front desk were fabulous and a credit to their organization. There was a small issue with a faulty TV, a previous guest had somehow cracked the screen. The maintenance crew fixed the situation quickly by installing a new unit almost immediately. Any company rides on the people it employs, this one has some gems! Great work guys!

Thank you, again, to Amy and her team! We had a wonderful 6 night stay (our third visit to the property) and give a special shout-out to Brandon, Tristan, and Sydney at the front desk. Property is well maintained both inside and out. Safe quiet area, well lit for parking of vehicle and for walking day and night. Exterior doors locked and requiring a key card for entry. Nice grounds and landscaping. Can't wait for the firepit construction to be completed; very exciting. Too cold for pool use, but inviting area with tables and chairs in a nice cabana area. Great "market" for sundries and supplies. Full bar with snack foods available until late into the night. Rotating breakfast items; well stocked and spotlessly clean serving and dining areas. Dog-friendly with stocked waste stations throughout property. No room-to-room noise. Bedding very nice and bed very comfortable. The Hubs was in the gym area several times; while not the latest and greatest/new equipment, everything clean and in working order, nicely operational. Shopping centers with food store, retail therapy and restaurants very close and easily accessed. We'll be back.....

Customer service was excellent. Ice maker took about 3 hours to produce a couple of cubes but front desk happily provided ice.

We had an excellent stay. When we first arrived we were disheartened to have loud noises from the room above (it sounded like kids jumping off the bed). We went down and spoke with Thomas at the desk. Turns out it was dogs. He changed our room and upgraded it to an executve suite. The rsuite was large, comfortable and quiet. Great place, great price. Nice view also.
