Quality Inn & Suites Schoharie near Howe Caverns

Decent hotel.

Could use some updates. Clean but things like the shower curtains need replacing.

Convenient to highway

Pervasive smell of air freshener was like living inside of a dryer sheet box. Warped bedroom door allowed light and sound through the bedroom door. Low occupancy, yet someone was placed in the room directly above us who sounded like Bigfoot was living above us, pacing constantly late into the evening.

It was close to Howe Caverns. There was not much open when we arrived around 8 pm. The Front desk clerk was very helpful. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet.

There was no onsite food at night. We felt the parking was weird - we had to go over an embankment. We got what we paid for.

Breakfast was not impressive. Food was mediocre.

Needs updating. Torn wallpaper, crumbling driveway, heat/cool system did not operate properly, just to name a few disappointments.

B'fast very basic&minimal but good. Close to historic town which we visited. Note that most places closed early in week. Most active thur-sun. Great pizza shop downtown

Very rundown. Mattress ripped, curtains falling off.
