Maldron Hotel Shandon Cork

We had the most wonderful lady at the reception desk. She was so helpful and went out of her way so many times to help us. Loved that we could walk to just about anything. Parking is a pain though.

Pleasant staff and a decent sized clean room.

Great location, staff at front desk great Inconsistancy in the spa with male staff a bit short tempered, have a rule of swimming caps, made toddler and balding males purchase and wear, not a big deal so same bought but noticed other kids and men not being made to wear caps when staff watching, which was a bit frustrating Breakfast was amazing Made crepe/pancakea for little ones, decent selection Close to town, shopping resturants and bars Little parking on site, we managed to get parking at hotel bit they do have a deal with a car park 3 min walk away so super convenient!

Ok location, not great parking - had to park offsite, self check in although staff were at the reception, strange room location which would have been made easier if staff checked you in and explained this. Comfy bed but overall hotel abit worn and tired

Hotel was in a good location - but water leak in hall covered by a rug. Breakfast was good but update the elevators already

Welcoming and friendly staff, nithing too much trouble. Comfortable stay. Excellent food. Only negative was hearing doors slamming each night.

Friendly staff, although provided inaccurate information at times. Rooms are old and loud, No housekeeping unless requested. Convenient parking rarely available - Used off site parking majority of the time for a fee. Great location

The staff was very friendly and the property seems to be recently renovated. I only wish there was more onsite car parking.

A bit dirty, a bit outdated But generally OK, not bad, not perfect. Shower temperature gauge was not working so was kind of a mistery of a temperature of water
