Maldron Hotel Shandon Cork

Excellent safety features in bathroom - roughened surface on bottom of bath and grab bars. Bed with very comfortable mattress and bedlinen Kettle in room and plentiful tea and coffee supplies. A requested refrigerator was supplied for my medication. Reception desk staff friendly and very helpful and willing to please

We planned a night away and stayed in Maldron Shandon. Great location and very nice staff. Carpark is snall and tight but manageable. Ill be back

The location was a short walk from the city center, but the building itself was old and worn down. The toilet didn’t work in our room, which we didn’t find out until in the middle of the night. No compensation or apologies given. Luckily they had another room we got keys to, to use the bathroom, and of course it was at a different floor and opposite end. Doors slam very loudly, trash was collected outside on the street at 5am. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very little parking No running water during our stay. Staff first said water will be back by 6 pm. Then 6 am…next day. No resolution. No compensation or resolution provided in lieu of.

Great hotel located near the city center.

The hotel was a nice place to stay but our shower didn't deliver enough hot water. It was luke warm at best.

Hotel seems old. A little run down. Carpet in hallways could use a good cleaning. Beds were clean and comfortable.
