The Bidwell Marriott Portland

Very nice experience! The hotel is close to everything and the atmosphere was relaxed.

As soon as you drive up to the Bidwell, you are greeted by Josh, one of the valets. Actually, not sure what is exact title is, since I saw him in several different roles throughout my stay, but he remembered my name and made us feel like we were staying at one of the top luxury hotels in the world. All the staff at the Bidwell are amazing! I will be staying here my for all future trips to Portland. Hands down the best hotel I’ve stay at in Portland.

Stayed here for a business trip in Portland. Enjoyed my stay even though it was only one night. Really friendly stuff nice with accommodations. Great location convenient walking distance to park and shopping

Bidwell was perfectly located to Pioneer Square and had great access to MAX and bus services to start and end any Portland adventure! Josh S. at the door was notable and a great face for the hotel. Without fail, he welcomed me upon my arrival, bid me a good day on my departure, and always made me feel welcome and positively energized.

Every time I visit the Bidwell I feel like I’m coming home. It’s always the same smiling faces welcoming me in, remembering my name (even when it’s been a month +!) and sharing in genuine connection. The Valet friend Josh is an absolute sweetie who hustles like no other. Levi at the desk is such a darling, finding ways to make me feel special and appreciated (ask to see his shoes, he’s got an amazing collection!). Tamara is so lovely and warm, although I don’t see her as often she is always so inviting and full of genuine connection. The hotel is well maintained, incredibly clean and captures the heart and essence of Portland without feeling like a tourist designed it (I lived here for 2 decades, some other Marriott properties are just trying so hard). I travel for work often, stayed at a plethora of hotels across the city and once I tried this location once I haven’t looked back. 10/10, highly recommend. Give Levi, Josh and Tamara a high five for me, can’t wait to see y'all next week!

Who the heck is Josh S? Is he a secret CEO? I feel like he might be because of the way he treats the guests. I have now seen him several times when I stay at the Bidwell in Portland. Customer service doesn’t begin to describe the way he makes you feel as a guest. He knows my name the car I drive. I even caught him cleaning up and restocking things in the kitchen area. He is full of personality super positive and makes you feel like you’re staying at his home. Can’t say enough about how much I appreciate him his attitude and overall demeanor. Thanks, Josh.

Jenifer and Juan Carlos were so accommodating in the M Club! The coffee ran out after I poured mine, and within 20seconds Juan Carlos and Jennifer quickly responded and grabbed my husband a fresh cup a coffee. They checked on us, cracked a few jokes with us and really made us feel at home in the club. I’m looking forward to coming back tomorrow morning!

Nice experience at the Bidwell Marriott. The location is perfect for exploring downtown. I was greeted by the friendliest front desk associate upon arrival. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The M Lounge was terrific, as was the capuccino in the High Horse. Right around the corner is Java Man, a delightful and delicious coffee shop. Loved my stay!

Very nice hotel with a great location in the downtown area. Josh the doorman/valet made us feel welcome and looked after. We will definitely be back!
