Days Inn by Wyndham Middletown/Newport Area

It was not too far from Newport area

It seems like it needs some repairs. The lights in the bathroom flickered and you could not plug anything into the outlets

This hotel was nice a bit older but they were upgrading the rooms. Clean, comfortable, just what we needed for the night.

Moderately convenient for Newport center. But not right in the heart of things

The heater kept turning on and off all night long. The refrigerator kept turning on and off and it was very loud and waking me up.

I thought it was a great value! Clean room, very comfortable bed. Would stay again

The rooms were spacious, spotless and updated. We found the location accessible from the Providence Rhode Island Airport. The breakfast 🧇 was superb! Nice comfortable and quiet night's stay. We will be staying there on our return trip. I wish ALL the Days Inns were this 😊 nice.

The Days Inn Wyndam in Middletown was a surprise hotel. It seems to have been recently renovated with new floors and paint. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is not too far from Newport attractions and easy to drive to those places. The surrounding area is not very walkable however, and the main road it's on is difficult to enter into as it is a main travel road and trafficked. The walls were a bit thin, but not too bad and the breakfast was fine, though the only hot food was a waffle maker, so I thought that was a little light on options. Overall, I'd say 4 stars, but given that Newport is so expensive, this was perfect for accessing the Naval base, downtown Newport and within budget.
