Rooms not ready when we arrived

Location was fantastic and the hotel had a great courtyard. We also enjoyed the free coffee/tea/fruit on each floor.

The front desk was not very helpful and actually gave us the wrong room number, leading us to try to enter a room that was occupied. The quality of the towels was quite poor and housekeeping did not give myself and my mother (who was also staying in the room) enough of them. We also had to keep asking the front desk for our room to be cleaned. We also never received the welcome cocktail that was supposed to be included in our reservation.

All the amenities were exceptional! The staff were very friendly and kind. Great location and close to everything we wanted to see.

The price was per night was higher than necessary, however, it was very lovely.

App for getting car and the phone system neither of which worked

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Charleston - nothing not to like here.

The staff looked a bit scared. I hope they are treated there ok.
