Everything perfect. Annie great when checking in & it became apparent it wasn’t a twin room. No fuss upgrade to a larger family room.

I was situated on the ground floor, which is extremely noisy. Totally accept noise on the evening which doesn’t go on too late, but the noise in the morning was quite irritating. Staff congregated outside our door, were being very loud in conversation - there was also a mic’d up Santa rehearsing very early in the morning and it was too loud. Housekeeper tried to come into the room twice before checkout time, and was quite snotty in her response to me saying I was still in bed…

Large room with everything you could want...iron, hairdryer, tea/coffee/biscuits, shower gel, abundance of towels, free wifi. Great location...10 min Uber to Knowsley Safari Park. Staff friendly and helpful. Outdoor space beautifully lit with fairy lights.

The room was a little tired but well presented. No breakfast! Start serving food at 12. Be aware that this is a popular bustling pub. Can be a bit noisy....they had a childrens party with music and entertainer(with a microphone) around 930 am on the Sunday morning. But wouldn't put me off staying again.

It was clean and well looked after. Mark helped with rebooking my stay when the event I was attending got postponed. That was very helpful.

There was noise between 10-12 pm from the karaoke or party downstairs maybe because it was halloween.

This is my second stay at the Griffin Inn, and I really can’t fault it. Great location, safe well light parking at no extra charge, which is a rare thing these days! The staff are delightful, I bumped into the housekeeper in the morning, suck a kind and engaging lady, a real asset to the establishment!
