"A cosy, lovely stay in the Blue Cottage that was just what I needed."

The rustic house and decor- beautiful calm countryside atmosphere that is old worldly.

The smell of the septic tank here and there. (At least I think it was that)

Quaint, old fashioned but comfortable and well catered

Impossible to reach by phone which never pics up and was charged both tge full rate, for which I received a receipt AND half again, maybe a deposit? On a different credit card!!

"Perfect for a rural weekend away, relax away the city cobwebs and stress"

The setting was lovely, Spring flowers everywhere, rural, quiet, just lovely chirping birds. Well signposted, Plentiful breakfast provided in our sitting room (so not just a bedroom!). There was plenty of heating, linen, seating and amenities.

If you are after modern glamour then it is not for you. If you want tranquility in an old-fashioned setting then it is fabulous.
