1888 Beach Resort

The location was great for our travel needs, we did not take meals but did use the mini kitchen in the room.

We enjoyed the staff, they were very helpful and friendly.

Clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff, ocean views, quiet location

Didn’t worry me as had a motorbike but it is a bit further away from bars or restaurants. ECT

We did not stay in the CROWN JEWEL of this location, rather the older building. I highly recommend you book one of the new cliff/Ocean view suites! I was able to view with the owner Ron. They are amazing, complete their own roof top with views of both the mountains and the ocean! They also have smaller suites with great ocean views! Also they have a GREAT CLEAN SWIMMING POOL! There is a great restaurant just 3 mins away towards dumaguete!

In the older building let the water flow it will eventually get warm. If it don't ask the security guard to "flip the switch".

Everything from owners to the staff they go above and beyond to make your stay as good as possible so relaxing and a chilled place I’d recommend this place to everyone if travelling to Dumaguete area.not far from airport and very close to a ferry across to Cebu island Ron Christine and staff thanks for everything

There is nothing not to like about 1888 resort

No tv dining close 5 pm door not open properly very old hotel breakfast supposed to be at 7 pm but nobody show up in the dining area

Vast pool and grounds Helpful staff

Not much in the way of restaurants close so quite isolated unless you are willing to travel by car or scooter...

The stay was excellent. I would recommend the place to all.
