Cool Bananas Backpackers

The energy and fun was great! friendly crew working there. we were welcomed by the dancing bananas and everyone included us and made us feel welcome all the time! lots of games! I loved the vibe... best hostel I've stayed in yet despite being in a quiet area. plus inexpensive washing machines and things to hire.

bed was comfy but no air-conditioning in rooms and curtains that let the light through them a lot so I found it very hard to sleep. there is a ceiling fan although in my room (2) it is very noisy on medium seeing it above so is very tough to sleep through. would recommend air con and light blocking curtains or better yet: curtains round beds?

Comfy places to chill, inside and out. Kitchen well equipped. Few mins walk to lovely beach.

Loud noise (music and drunks) until late. Cut off beyond 10pm / 11pm would have been appreciated. Soap in the showers would have nice.

Amazing vibes right from the moment I walked in. The staff are social and fun - they make an effort to include everyone in the festivities and really seem to enjoy what they do! Bonus points for the banana costumes, that really made this hostel special.

There was nothing I didn’t like. I would 100% stay here again.

Relaxed Vibe and clean rooms and bathooms

No Wifi in the rooms but in the main building. A few new sponges in the kitchen would be nice.

Amazing hostel!! Loved everything about it!! Big rooms, clean and comfortable. Big and clean kitchen. Amazing staff and wonderful owner. I will come back for sure!

What an unreal place. This was my first experience staying in a shared dorm hostel and it did not disappoint. The beds were so comfy and I slept so well. The place has an awesome surfer vibe with surfboards, coconuts, hamocks, a fire pit and bbq area. We had the best vibe and night out with everyone who worked there, 100% will be back
