Cantilever Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

This is my 3rd time staying at the beautiful Cantilever Hotel in Ranier, MN. I LOVE that this beautiful hotel, bar, restaurant, and experience is so close to the town I grew up in. The staff is excellent. The food was wonderful (and the one time that something was slightly less than wonderful, they fixed it right away). I love the vibe and the neighborhood - Feels like home.

2/3 times I have stayed at Cantilever, the toilet paper holder in the bathroom has been broken. Its nothing that was going to ruin my stay, but for the price, the toilet paper holder should be functioning.

Amazing facilities and very worth the stay for the price. Good hot tub and sauna that seemed clean. The rooms are also wonderful and the theme/ decor is spot on. Very friendly staff, offers to bring ice to room - room service but restaurant and bar isn't open Mon + Tue and is open later in evening. Food was fantastic when we went to the restaurant and has good moctails/ selection for cocktails and drinks. If you stay when restaurant is open the noise is not too bad from the rooms. Good facilities like a gym, other setting throughout hotel, and a massage area but you have to pay and it's a little pricey. We had a dual shower and it was amazing.

Could offer a more consistent breakfast. The coffee landing in international falls is really good but more complimentary options at the hotel would have been nice. More thorough cleans of the rooms in between guests, everything seemed very clean but we found an empty pop bottle and plastic hanger that wasn't ours. More store space for clothes, the area to hang shirts wasn't tall enough for that and my pants. Also checking the lights and making sure they all work + checking fan filters. You might struggle with hot water for shower if it's super busy downstairs.

Very nice, clean decor. Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant downstairs was great. The location was peaceful and close to both International Falls and Voyageurs National Park. The microdistillery downstairs was very interesting. Train do run by often, but they didn’t disturb my sleep.

Nothing

No breakfast (at least on Sunday), but the Library is nearby and is wonderful. We had the handicap suite with a walk in shower. It was wonderful and the decore was wonderful. It was a chilly night, so the Sauna and Hottub on the roof were amazing. The bar and cocktails were wonderful

No real negatives.
