The Namkhan, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World

Beautiful scenery. Calm and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Facilities were very clean and kept together. Staff were all friendly and very helpful especially with my elderly mum.

Prices of activities and food are on the higher end. Equivalent to western resorts.

This is a beautiful hotel in a very unique position next to the river. We loved the tranquility and feeling of space. After spending time in town, it was so lovely to return to this peaceful and relaxing place. The room was perfect with a huge outside area.

Le lieu et sa végétation luxuriante, le calme, la gentillesse du personnel, la sérénité des lieux…le Petit Déjeuner, le restaurant fruits et légumes cultivés sur places! les cours de yoga, le Spa tout est parfait. Un grand merci à Somphet pour les bananes au PDJ, Merci a Som pour son sourire le soir au Restaurant, au professeur de Yoga qui ajuste les cours selon le niveau, aux masseuses et leur Responsable la pétillante française sans oublié le Staff de la réception , de la piscine…Un grand merci à tous, vous nous avez permis de vivre 6 jours inoubliables.

Ne pas y rester plus longtemps

Emplacement trop éloigné de tous les centres d’intérêt; app nécessaire pour tout réserver; promiscuité des bungalows tentes, pas de séparation ni visuelle ni sonore alors qu’il y’a de la place! camping fiesta de l’autre côté de la berge du Nam khan avec music non stop, je plains ceux qui sont près de la piscine; site qui semble avoir eu ses heures de gloire mais semble maintenant un peu abandonné…petit dej/service catastrophique un samedi matin, personnel incapable de comprendre l’anglais

Super SLH mit ausgezeichnetem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Diesen bezahlbaren Luxusaufenthalt kann ich jedem nur empfehlen. Wie haben im Zelt gewohnt, das man nur aufgrund der fehlenden Wände als solches bezeichnen kann. Ansonsten was das Zelt mit jedem erdenklichen Luxus ausgestattet: Minibar, Kaffee und Tee, Bademantel (der leichteste, dünnste und passendste den ich je anhatte), Kosmetikprodukte, Klimaanlage (total überflüssig da es aufgrund des Daches kaum Sonneneinstrahlung gibt und die Temperaturen abends/nachts stark sinken) usw. Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal, leckeres Frühstück, schöner Pool, tolle Cocktails, open air Fitnessstudio, sehr ruhige Lage, viel Natur. Kostenloser Shuttles im/vom Zentrum von Luang Prabang. Im Zelt zu schlafen und das Rauschen des Flusses Namkhan zu hören ist ein Super-Erlebnis!!!

Klimaanlage im Zelt ist überflüssig und nicht umweltfreundlich.

Tout était parfait. Tout le personnel est tres souriant et chacun est extrêmement gentil et attentionné. Tout est qualitatif etvtred agréable. Nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour.. Je recommande les cours de Chikong.

Our bungalow was super spacious, luxurious and well appointed. The king sized bed was super comfortable. The infinity pool and lounge area. The restaurant was great! The breakfasts were varied and of high quality. They offered both continental and Lao cuisine options. We always opted for all the Lao cuisine selections and loved them! The property is super beautiful and is situated right on one of the smaller tributaries of the Mekong River.

Not much at all. If I could mention only one thing, is that there is a riverside new restaurant/lounge that is across the river from our bungalow and it would have been nice if they did not leave their bright lights on throughout the night. Good thing that the Namkhan had really good blackout draperies on our bunglalow.

Superb breakfast choices in very pleasant outdoor restaurant. Workout spaces - the beautiful covered area by the river and the outdoor gym. Pool nice (though not quite workout size!). Room large and decorated artistically.
