Een fantastisch verblijf in een heel mooi Victoriaans pand. De inrichting was ook geheel in Victoriaanse stijl. Echt heel geweldig!

"Aberley House is a beautiful B&B north of Liverpool with convenient public transportation and beach."

House is beautiful and tastefully decorated with many pictures with personal connections to the family. The whole experience was like a page out of Downton Abbey. The location was exceptional: close to the beach with Antony Gormley's "Another Place" installation of iron men dug into the sand. The train into Liverpool was convenient and street parking was abundant. There are several good restaurants nearby. Breakfasts were good. It was a lovely visit.

There was one private bathroom per floor. Other guests had to use one on other floors. Our host got permission from other guests so we could use the one on the same floor as our room. The house is ca 1870 and adding more private baths per floor understandably could not be easily done.
