It’s a country pub which is a little tired inside but has friendly chatty staff who are very helpful. The breakfast included is very good. Overall good value if you like a little rustic surrounding but the vie from the main bar over the Box Valley is fabulous.

Bar carpet needs replacement

Would have had breakfast earlier if possible as 8am was a bit late. If I didn’t have a meeting at 9 it would have been fine though.

Loved the cosiness of the pub/restaurant and room. Very friendly staff. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The views were stunning and the food was delicious. Not your usual pub grub, a nice change to have a different menu, fresh and plenty of choice, well presented. Lovely welcoming place
