Failed to inform me about having to order breakfast the day before

No chair in room so had to sit on bed

Very Dated & Maintenance Needed & Had to pay extra for for parking my van £10

Friendly welcome from the owner. Comfortable bed. The back garden was tranquil.

I didn't like the McDonald's rubbish left under my bed from the previous guest. I didn't like the cobwebs absolutely everywhere. The cleanliness was extremely poor. The outside areas weren't clean and tidy, paths covered in tree mess, hadn't been swept, grass hadn't been cut. There is an outside pool that isn't in use and has been emptied , one wrong step and you could easily take a fall into a very deep empty pool! Absolutely not safe, should be covered or fenced off. No attention to detail from a cleaning perspective. TV too small to watch from your bed. Very steep stairs leading upto the bedrooms in the "coach house". Anyone with mobility issues wouldn't be able to climb them. The hotel is far from its former glory from when my family stayed there many years ago.

the room was clean and tidy though because of the heat (weather) it was vey stuffy even with the window wide open. I slept very badly though hardly the fault of the hotel . If extreme heat in the summer months becomes a regular experience I suggest air conditioning.

See above for what didn't go well. Generally the service was ok. it was good to be able to park on-site. I was hoping for breakfast, as an option I would pay for, but the manager said there is no breakfast's
