Arabian Nights in Jiufen

Amazing view and terrace. Staff was very nice. The room was nicely decorated.

Not particularly clean, and no soap in the bathroom. Pillows were stained. The isolation was not good so we could hear the neighbours TV throughout the stay.

Great location, quiet and good breakfast

Breakfast was delicious! Location is right on the main road into town - very convenient and easy to locate Our hosts were generous and recommended hikes for us nearby at the Gold Museum

Located just a few minutes walk up the stairs to the middle of Jiufen Old Street. The view from the room is perfect, except that it is weather subjective. If you require drinking/hot water, it is self service at the kitchen.

Soundproof was bad. You can easily hear footsteps and doors closing from neighbouring rooms.

Location was excellent (very close to bus stop from Taipei city and also very close to Jiufen Old Street). The room was also very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The views from the cafeteria was also very beautiful. Staff was very friendly and caring, would definitely return again if I visited Jiufen. Highly recommended.

Although there was a nice balcony, unfortunately, the weather was very foggy and cloudy, so we could not see the view from our unit. I will try again next time when the weather is hopefully better. Otherwise, everything else about this place was very nice.

A very beautiful cottage, close to Jiufen Old Street. What is impressive is the owner's stone collection, especially the local Jingua Stone, which brings out the history of Jiufen.
