"Superb"

Traditional and comfortable accommodations. The staff are very friendly and speak fluent English.

The location is a little far from the station.

"Great place and good vibes"

The place has an old house vibe but the facilities are quite modern and it was spotless, it also has a great location: next to the old city. Takashi speaks perfect English, he's very easy to talk to, in case you forget something, everything is written down for you where you need it and his recommendations were on the spot.

"Pleasant"

Location was close to the festivals. Owner spoke fantastic english and is very friendly. Instructions for facilities were well labelled in multiple languages.

Room was a little crammed. Don't have any real complaints about the experience and facilities, however I did expected a little bit more for the price.

The host was extremely friendly, spoke excellent English and gave some great recommendations for food and drink. The location could not have been better.

Nothing not to like. Despite being a very small accommodation, we were able to arrange to drop our luggage off early.

"Unforgettable recommendations from a lovely host"

Killer experience staying at Takashi's place in Takayama. We were the only guests at the time and he was kind enough to offer us the room of our choosing. Ask about his suggestions for soba noodles, ramen, and hida beef - they were all delish!
