Waterside Resort

The pool and hot tub were very nice.

Upon arrival we immediately put up our food that needed refrigeration. We left the non perishable foods on the island counter/bar. When we returned to our room small black bugs were in all the food on the counter. We suffered a huge financial loss having to throw out our groceries and buy more. We sent pictures to the person in charge that day. We heard nothing from them.

Loved the view and the spacious rooms. Very clean. Friendly and accessible staff. Beautiful pool. Very peacful and serene place. I would stay there again and would recommend to others.

The pool hours were too short. The kitchen didn't have adequate cooking dishes. Additionally, some serving spoons and knives they provided were broken. We had to shop for some kitchen hardware. Not a complete dealbreaker, but I would recommend the owner to stock the kitchen with better cookware to go with their otherwise very nice kitchen.

There isn't breakfast at this location. We just buy groceries and cook while there so meals were good! Grocery store and other stores within 20 min to half hr drive, which isn't bad at all. We love Waterside! And love going into Edenton to walk around. Beautiful historic town. Friendly locals. We've been coming for several years and plan to return in the fall. Rooms are great and views are amazing! Friendly helpful staff :) love watchn the eagles! We have no complaints at all and highly recommend!! :)

The only thing I can say anything negative about at all would be the living room couch, and it could stand an update. When you sit on it you fall to the middle. It's just worn out, but isn't a big deal. We don't sit much anyways while there :)

Location is a bit out of the way but very accessible. Beautiful view from the room.

It was off season so use of all the all the fun things to do we’re limited due to lack of other guests to enjoy them with(volleyball and other games)
