The communication even prior to my stay was fantastic, and from the moment I arrived I felt like I was well taken care of. The room was initially a little cold, being at the top of the building, but the helpful staff there was very persistent in making sure the radiator was fully functional before he left me to enjoy my evening. If the kind of service and hospitality I received when I stayed is commonplace then I can be sure that anyone staying here will feel similarly taken care of.

There wasn't any milk available for the tea, but this was a very minor thing and I'm sure if I asked they would have sorted it for me. The fact this is the only thing I can find fault with just goes to show that it was otherwise a great value and well accomodating place to stay.

The location was good

No way of locking the door, even though the rooms have " yale " type locks, the latch for locking the door had been removed. TV had a long crack on the screen, the TV remote was held together with sellotape. The pillows were filthy. The towels had a gungy smell.

This property should be removed from your Expedia listings. It is a con game. One or two bedrooms are fitted out to look attractive. Photos are taken and not updated. Pictures do not tell you much as you really have to be there. The shared toilet had a broken seat, there was no hot water, it was dirty, the curtains were torn, opening the windows brought in outside traffic noise, although advertised as having toiletries there was no soap. When I phoned for some, they delivered a half used piece! The owner does not need to provide anything once he has your money. You can stay or go for all he cares. 90 pound a person is ridiculous. We did not stay. We moved down the road to another hotel where the manager said he had heard our story many times from people who refused to stay there. Evidently the property was originally called the Waverley. Maybe the photos were from that time. Final comment. Even Faulty Towers offered better rooms than we had. This facility should NOT be advertised on your website
