"Lovely comfortable property"

Fantastic views from the property. Quite remote but gives you a real rural Scotland experience with lots of sheep on the hills and in the road! Property is very well appointed and well presented. Has everything you need and spotlessly clean. A very comfortable bed and a good shower. Owners are very friendly and helpful. I was looking for somewhere with an EV charger, which was an essential for me, so the property ticked all my boxes.

Ce logement est tout à fait exceptionnel ! La déconnexion y est totale (la vue, la baie, le confort). Simone est d'une gentillesse extraordinaire, soucieuse de notre bien être et de rendre le séjour agréable. Le logement est tout à fait bien équipé, rien ne manque et l'esprit cocooning y est !

L’équipement vraiment complet. Deux suggestions quand même : la machine à café, Tassimo est assez meilleur et gagnerait à être remplacée dans cette cuisine, si bien équipée par une machine Nespresso et dans la salle de bain, où il ne manque quasiment, rien, même des peignoirs très confortables, un miroir de rasage serait nécessaire. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et la maison est vraiment au bout du monde !

We had a wonderful time at Emma’s. Jonathan and Simone are perfect hosts and had great recommendations for us. The apartment is a wonderful refuge and is equipped with everything you need and a lively decoration.

Wonderful hosts! Very close to Neist Point which was nice!! A bit far from the rest of the Isle but honestly it was perfect!

Unbelievable,you couldn’t ask for anything better , exceptionally clean and everything you needed for a comfortable stay , the hosts were so nice and helpful and as for the welcome from Emma and Pepper the 2 dogs just made it so more personal and welcoming, definitely coming back again, thankyou

"Home away from home."

We really enjoyed staying with Jonathan, Simone and Emma. They were very welcoming, and their home is beautiful and cozy. We had everything we needed to launch day trips in Skye, and we also took their advice on a gorgeous walk around the bay. Breakfasts were immaculate, and the dinner at Carters Rest rivaled the fine dining restaurants we visited on other nights. And Emma’s friendly cuddles made it seem all the more like home. We highly recommend Carters Rest as your home base in Skye!
