Loved the retro decor. The property was very clean! Great place for an overnight stay. Would return for sure!

The property and room needs a facelift

Clean room, nice sheets, friendly staff. Have stayed here twice and both times I am not disappointed.

This was the worse room we have ever stayed in. I do not usually leave bad reviews but this feedback needs to beStrange people hanging around outside. Strong cigarette smell filters into the non-smoking room from other areas.

Affordable and unique, hassle-free experience.

The outside and location looked dirty and old. Undesirable people and clutter/ trash all around. It was nonrefundable so I was stuck. The pleasant part was the staff who went out of their way to make this elder solo traveler feel safer. Even found a coffeemaker I could use. The room was surprisingly clean and smelled fresh. The towels were fluffy large and snow white. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. Inside the room it was a cozy retro feel. Now if only the outside could of felt the same.

It was convenient, clean, quiet and friendly.

I prefer a firm mattress but the bed was soft and lumpy.

This motel has the best shower water pressure I've ever had at any hotel. Ever. They have updated this place as best they can, without a complete overhaul. However, there are no drapes in the room (at least the one we had). It has white miniblinds, which let in ALL the light (and also, someone could look through the holes where the cords are). The parking lot is well lit, so our room was as well. There is a window on the opposite side of the room, which was dark at night, but bright in the morning. No need for a nightlight. Room was so-so quiet, although you can hear the trucks and train go by. Parking is tight, and you may have to park in the street on the side. Our room was on the lower floor, but there are still stairs to get there (as there is a basement-level also; not sure if they have rooms down there). Man was standing below street level smoking and staring at us as we walked by. The floor squeaks a lot, so I hope no one was below us. Front desk staff was friendly. Ate at nearby Jenny's, which I highly recommend.

decent price, comfortable bed and hot shower

Its an okay location for a night, price was good. Clean towels, clean sheets, beds seem new'ish. The main thing we didn't like is there was no bolt lock on the door, not did it have a chain or anything other than a standard door lock - the type that can be opened with a simple credit card. Area seemed safe, but the lack of a real door lock is why we wont stay there again.
